How would you compare your ex spouse with your current?

Did you go for the same type or the exact opposite the 2nd time? Is there anything that the current doesn't compare with the 1st on?How would you compare your ex spouse with your current?
there is no comparison in the two, they are the exact opposite. the new spouse has a conscience the other spouse did not.How would you compare your ex spouse with your current?
Don't have an ex spouse. Still with number one. And, we made it twice as long as the national average, so that's something I suppose.





All I could compare with is ex-boyfriends, and I learned and made changes every time. Granted, however, I was FAR too young and with only two serious boyfriends, to even know what I should be thinking of, or looking at. But, you live and learn; you change and grow.





That's all you can do.
well both are tall dark and handsome... both are in the same profession... both are passionate in the bedroom.. but it ends there....





my husband is romantic, my ex gave me a visor for my helmet for christmas and a tool box for my birthday.... my husband would give me anything and doesnt expect me to work... my ex would never buy me more than a dinner occasionally and would expect me to make the same amount of money if not more and would probably make me pay for half the house when we bought it.... my husband could care less if I put the butter knife in the peanut butter right after... my ex would jump through the roof and freak about how the butter makes the peanut butter go bad.... my husband always thinks about how decisions affect me, even if it pertains to his job.... my ex wouldnt think about me at all he would just make a decision and face the reprecussions aftewards.....





two completely different personalities... which is why I married my husband and not my ex.....
totally different but better. why would you be with the same type of person again if it didn't work out the last time. my new one is everything i wished my ex had been. the ex had some qualities that i miss...more money, ability to fix anything, but those things dont compare to what i have now
Exact opposite.. But I thought my ex was just like my current till we got married.





My current husband is wonderful and allows me to be me. As I do him. I want him to do what he wants.





My ex, well I call him the ex rat bastard.. He is a puke and I can't stand him
i knew my hubby since i was 12, so when we broke up i compare all my boys to him, now we together again and he is the totally opposition of the loser i dated before him.
They don't compare in any way. I guess they do both have beards and brown hair but that is where the similarity ends. I am nothing like my husband's ex (thank goodness) except we are both short.





Edit: I am in total agreement with Kasa's mommy, it is better the second time around.
Exact opposite and my 2nd is better then my first in every way. There is no comparison.
My ex was very negative, didn't have any friends unlike my husband who has loads of friends and is always very up beat.
My ex and my current is the same person. (single)
