This question has been asked so many times. If you file married filing jointly with a joint income of under $150,000 each spouse gets $600 for a total of $1200, and $300 for each child, provided that you paid at least the $1200 in taxes in 2007 (it is a rebate). It does not matter if both or one spouse works, it is a combo of under $150,000 for 2 people that is important.
