How does a pregnant ex-wife qualify for spouse maintence?

Considering the marriage only lasted 15 months. Consideing she has no assets and neither does the ex-Husband. Considering she is on a 2 year spouse visa and considering the ex-Husband does not want anything to do with the Child but will still have to pay child maintence. Is the ex-Husband entitled to pay spouse maintence to his ex-wife or doesn't she qualify for this. How does a pregnant ex-wife qualify for spouse maintence?
It depends on what state you live in. Some states allow for maintenance, some states do so only in certain situations.

He will definitely be required to pay child support. How does a pregnant ex-wife qualify for spouse maintence?
The 2 year spouse visa is irrelavent, she only needs to be married for a few msonth to allow her to stay here- a new law last year, the childs father should have thought about not wanting anything to do with the child before he got her poregnant, its not the childs fault and legally she does qualify for spouse maintenance, in UK its called alimont. The CSA will be taking 25% of the fathers salary for the next 16 years of if in higher education till the child is 18 unless he becomes a doctor then the father pays CSA until the child finishes medical school at 26 years old.
well as long as he got his (ex) wife pregnant and he is the father than yes he does have to pay maintanence because at the end off the day even if he doesn't like his ex the child will always be his and there is nothing he can do about that.

i dont know if he will have to still pay if she moves to her country of origin though.
